North East corner of E 136th & N Rangeline Road - Clay Twp., Hamilton Co, Indiana



The Old Carmel Cemetery is located at the North East corner of 136th (East Smokey Row Road) & Range Line Road, Hamilton County - Clay Township, Carmel, Indiana. Originally known as the Richland Cemetery, the ground was purchased from David Wilkinson in 1833 and was originally part of Delaware Township. The first Friends Church was a log structure located where Section 2 of the cemetery is currently.

This database was created as an Eagle Project by Kevin C. Bailey, Troop 120 of Carmel Indiana. This site contains over 1800 names and links to over 2000 tombstone photographs taken by Kevin C. Bailey. The photographs may be used for personal use only.
This Project was done with the help of Becky Keesling, my project sponsor, of the Carmel-Clay Historical Society, and Mr.John C. Anderson, my technical advisor for this project. The software and database application which automatically generates this site was written and provided by   Mr. Anderson.
