Crown Point Cemetery was established in 1867 by the Kokomo City
Council. Dr. Horace A. Armstrong was the first burial on November 22,
1868. The Civil War Monument was erected in 1886 and is 50 feet six
inches tall. The cost of the monument was $7,450. The cemetery is
located at 1101 East Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana. It is the
largest cemetery in Howard County containing 65 acres with 29,737
graves. Thanks to Carolyn Keel at the Crown Point office for all her

information.
This
database was done by John C. Anderson and was completed in the Fall of
2003 requiring 3 years to complete. It contains links to 21,828
tombstone photographs all taken by Mr. Anderson. The photographs may be
used for personal use only.
