My research on Randolph Cemetery follows upon that which was done by Gorman, Dowden and Garber. However, this index is not a copy, nor does it agree with any other. Each person buried here after the 1880's has been verified using mainly death records, funeral home records and marriage licenses. Randolph has a few other names: Union (Separate), (Little) Wildcat and Range-line. Randolph has a number of Tipton Co. families interred there and the simple fact that I volunteered to photograph it along with the help of Kate and Julie Childers. Rows are read from west to east. Stones are read from south to north. Many rows are short and start and stop haphazardly. We have identified 485 burials to date. Robert

I have continued the research and the total burials identified is now at 512. I expect to find more as the research continues. |
