Creating a New Cemetery Database

The first time you run this software, you will need to create a new cemetery database, select Insert

You will be given a new blank entry screen where you can enter your cemetery information as shown ( Fig. 2 ).  Enter the following information:

Name 
Enter the name of the new cemetery.  This name will be show at the 
Top of each web page. This is a required field.
Location
Enter the street address of the cemetery.  This address will be used as a link to a location map of the cemetery.
Township
Enter the township where the cemetery is located.  This information will be shown at the top of each web page.  
County
Enter the county where the cemetery is located.  This information will be shown at the top of each web page.
City
Enter the city where the cemetery is located.  This information will be shown at the top of each web page.

State
Enter the state where the cemetery is located. This information will be shown at the top of each web page.

Code
Enter a 3 character code to be used with the cemetery.  This code is included in web page file name when creating your web pages. This is a required field.
Data Path
The Data Path defines where the data files for this cemetery are stored.  To search or define the directory on your computer, you can use the button at the right end of the entry field.  This information is very important. Every cemetery MUST have its own directory.
Reading Date
Enter the date when the cemetery reading was performed.
Date of Burials
Enter the range of dates for this cemetery 
Cemetery Map
If you have a cemetery map which you have created, enter the file name.  If defined, a link to the map will be created at the top of each web page.
Comments
Enter any comments about this cemetery.

Click on the OK button to save your information.  This cemetery will now be shown in the list box .  Click on Select to select the new cemetery.

This cemetery information is available at File/Maintenance/Cemeteries after you have saved the information by clicking on the OK button and can be changed later by going to  the File/Maintenance/Cemeteries screen and clicking on the Change button.

After defining your cemetery information, your ready to enter your cemetery detailed information.
